Surprise Box Opening! [Withdoll Strawberry]

Hello!! Well, this is a dream come true, to be honest. I shared it with only one person besides my hubby and my parents, because I could not believe it, and though it would be a true dream if I talked about it. It has been a journey that went from complete excitement, to utmost fear of customs and then back to happiness.

On February the 1st, I got a mail from lovely Withdoll offering me a tiny doll as a gift. I couldn't believe it to be honest! After some emails, I ask them that if they would combine shipping with a pair of crystal shoes, and they told me yes! I asked them about this because we have limited packages in my country, and if I didn't got them on this order, I wouldn't be able to get them until who-knows-when! So I payed the shoes and waited. I checked regularly the shoe order, waiting to change to before shipping, but it never did.

Last Friday (February the 27th), I was at the office and hubby sent me a message that the postman had left a retrieve-package notice, and that I should go to customs to retrieve a package... which package? I never got a shipping notice! When I came home, I checked the origin at it was from Korea... and I haven't ordered anything! I will talk about the customs odyssey later.

Onto the happy images!

Cookie did not had that cute outer box! I didn't take photo of the outer box with fragile sticker because I had to open it twice at customs, and would had to blur almost everything! Anyways, more photos under the cut!

First sneak peak of the cute little face!

Excuse the light! After coming home from work, I had to run some errands, go to gym and then open this cutie-pie!

Here are the eyes and the sleepy/kitty hands:

Then, it was this mysterious package of bubble wrap! Those were the shoes!!

They look like Cinderella's shoes with all that bokeh! And they were so well packaged: two bubble-wrap bags and each shoes individually stuffed with paper:

They make bokeh!!!! *insert hubby teasing me about my love for bokeh* I will do a review later, with more detailed photos... and  a matching dress, of course.

Anyways... the main event!

After checking the date, it seems she shipped fast after I got their email! And, here is the little cutie pie free!!

She is so adorable!!!!! Cookie was so surprised to find a new friend!!

I tested some eyes on her:

But I finally decided on the ones my mom choose (yes, she came to my house for the BO, as she did for both Coco and Cookie!). The brown wig is the one I originally bought for Cookie, but I rather like it on Straberry, although I'm going to trim it at elbow-high. Then, I brought some dresses from Cookie, and made a little dress-up:

And here she is with Cookie, all dressed up! Hubby suggested a name, and I think I'm going to keep it: Merry. I like it!

The look like the negative of each other!

Anyways. I may have a character for Merry... my mind may have gone insane thinking about what she could do and all! I need to trim the wig, make some things, get some special parts... I will share it, of course!

Now, the creepy part: my customs oddisey! I had quite a big issue at customs, that can be resumed as follows: went to customs, very rude customs-officer asked for paperwork that did not apply, I spent two days on an anxiety-hell stressing because I couldn't get the papers; after that, managed to get some papers done. Gave papers to dad, dad went to customs, different officer (a kind officer) tells the papers were not needed and did not apply to my case. Gave the package with no issues. Add to this a very very rude officer that treated us like shit (I went with my dad to the customs office) and did not even said "Hello".

Anyways, stress out, now I'm jumping around the house with hubby and the kitten, happy with my new doll. To Withdoll you are awesome, and I'm totally withdoll-ed!! Thank you!!

Also, I want to thank  Fantasywoods that talked to me and tried to keep my hopes up when I though it was everything lost.

Yay happy girl here!!!! :D

  4. Oh that's so nice of Withdoll to offer her as a gift! I wish more companies did stuff like that :) Strawberry is my favorite from WD's tiny sculpts, she's just so adorable! And I looove those "Cinderella shoes", how pretty ;3; I wish they did such shoes for SD girls too, if they're ever going to release some...

Too bad you had to go through all that in customs. :/
Some people just like to misuse their 'power' over others. :(

  6. Oh hey, congratulations on your arrival! She's a cutie. Withdoll is the best company ever, aren't they. :3

And do love the bling pumps~ I have the see-through ones but they tend to disappear in photos. I bet these will look great on Coco.

(And it's Yenna. I'm not sure how this will display my name because I don't really have an account with anything this gives me an option for.)

I saw your pumps, those are amazing, but were from the Eliza LE, right? I got this ones because I love glitter and they make bokeh! *fangirling over bokeh*
