My holidays are almost over, as Monday is work day again, but they were truly productive and fun! If you saw my Instagram, I have been sewing a set with shirt/necktie/coat for Coco (here is a collage of Instagram WIPs), and I must say that I love how it ended up!
So, here is a collection of photos of the outfit. It was hubby's ideas to make a necktie for Coco, and it looks so cute! Plus, it has a real half-windsor knot (I had to tie it, it is not one of those already-tied ties!).
I'm really happy with this set! I feel like the pics don't make it justice, but oh well... that may be a rant for another post xD
The next one is one of my favorite pics!
You don't know the time it took me to make her hold the coat like that xD The fabric kept slipping out of her fingers! At least her hands are mag-on type, so it is easy to switch between them.
Confession time! Since the moment I got the fabric to make the coat, I wanted to take a picture like this. I know it is not perfect nor how I envisioned so someday I will take a better one, but... OMG! This was another 10min set up to make the coat hold on her shoulders and put the right hand on a natural-looking pose, because I got that wrist twisted on a couples of out-takes xD
And finally! Here are some pics of the coat inside (completely lined, as you see) and the outside, simply because I'm so proud of this! It is the first time I ever do a miniature coat, and now I can't stop thinking on them! I was even considering doing one or two coats and put them for grabs on DoA's MP, as they fit MNF and most slim minis... but I don't know!
So,now I want to make thousand different types of coats and outfits, but oh well xD Thanks so much for reading and bearing with me, and remember that the giveaway is still open! You have until August the 3rd to enter, and how to enter is available here.
