Each section of the chart is stated with a title, and represents a type of thread we have available. There is always a small description highlighting the best fit of clothes/accessories that can be done with those threads.
Colors pictured are all that we have and stock, but said stock can change, and some threads (like the vintage ones) are hard to replace. Finally, please remember that the color you see may vary depending on your monitor settings.
If you have any questions regarding the chart, or commission service, thread availability, and so on, please contact us!
Standard Colorful Threads (High Availability)These can be used for almost anything, from blouses to sweaters, dresses, purses, scarfs, hoodies, and delicate shawls. Can be used on any BJD size. They are also slightly stretchy when knitted.
High availability means that this colors are easy to re-stock, and that we currently have a big stock.
Standard Colorful Threads (Low Availability)These can be used for almost anything, from blouses to sweaters, dresses, purses, scarfs, hoodies, and delicate shawls. Can be used on any BJD size. They are also slightly stretchy when knitted.
Low availability means that this colors are hard to re-stock, and the color may vary highly from batch to batch. We also have a low stock of these, and may not be enough for certain clothes.
Thick ThreadsThese threads are thicker than the rest of the chart, and are perfect for sweaters or shawls where the stitches must look oversized. Also works really well for purses and bags. It is better to use them for bigger dolls.
We can re-stock these easily, and bring more colors upon request for a commission. We can offer a photo of sample with the stitches of your choice, if you want to know how this will look when knitted.
Thin & Vintage ThreadsThese threads are extremely thin and can be used for any BJD size. The best use is for delicate shawls, blouses and clothes with open stitches. Not recommended for sweaters or bags.
Some of this threads (like LE1el and LE4el) are vintage, having more than 40 years. They may have some slight discolorations that are perfect for mori kei or earthy styles. The other colors are perfect and have no discoloration.
