Merry and the Snail

I never take my dolls out, but this time it was an exception. My mom has this huge rosa chinensis on a pot, which has the base of the pot flooded with these plants that looks like a green flower but it isn't (I think the name is echeveria sp). The plant is not that huge either, but it is a perfect scale for Merry and Cookie, and since they are so small, I was able to easily move Merry's box to my mom's house.

What motivated me to go and take pics there, is that my hubby gifted me a snail pendant made in crystal by a local artisan. I love the things that artisan do, I already have two pairs of earrings (crystal shoes, and a pair of red seahorses), and this snail was so beautiful and tiny that it deserved pictures in the green!

This looks like a huge forest, but it is only a plant in a pot! More pics under the cut :3

I know, silly post, but I wanted to share this photos because Merry is just so cute!! :3 And the snail is so pretty, I definitely need to get more earrings and pendants from this artisan, he makes such pretty animals! Last time, he also had toucans and parrots in miniature!

Anyways, hope you are having a great day! Any dolly news, anyone? I'm working on the steampunk dress video, I hope to record the voice this weekend although I still don't know how I will do it!

  1. I must say that those red seahorses are super pretty! No wonder you love them. ^^ And the snail is adorable, little Merry is taking good care of it. Merry was so beatiful in this background, it is perfect for her. ^-^

Haha, my dolly news you already read about and thank you again for your lovely comment. <3 I wish you good luck with your video, the dress is beautiful art work!

    1. Thank you so much!! And yes, I loved this background! I wish I would dare to take more pics of them in greenery, but my pots are too small, even for them.

  6. Hi Musume,
What a pretty snail pendant, I gather it is glass? I love things like this and always enjoy hand made gifts, whether it's from the giver or from someone else's hands. I love the photo shoot you have done, the colours have come up a treat. :)
    Hugs,

    1. Hi! It is crystal, not glass, which is different (I don't which is the difference, though). I love buying from this artisan, I need the tiny parrot next! :D
