But oh well, here it is! It is not a photostory, but a short lore-like story, with some photos accompanying it. Hope you will enjoy this! :D
A tiny gift
Mouse fairies are known as humans as “tooth fairies”, because their job is to collect children’s tooth and exchange it for a coin. Because of this, they are required to collect coins for all over the world, to be able to deliver the correct one each time. That night was the fifth time Merry visited the same kid house. She had only seen her thick black hair peeking from the bed and her dark skinned hands holding the sheets, but never dared to watch her sleep. Humans terrified Merry as the fairy always thought of them as giants. However, this girl was different: she always left her milk tooth alongside a sweet treat for ‘the tooth fairy’. And Merry always delivered the coins.
She climbed the night table with a lot of effort, and almost fell at the top. This time, the tooth was a molar and was waiting for her on the same tiny carpet the kid always used. But something was different. There was no sweet, but a lace circle with feathers hanging from it. Merry kneeled beside it and grabbed it: it was her size! Was it for her? She looked around the room, and realized that the lace circle was similar to what the tiny human girl had on her room. There were two giant circles with feathers on the wall behind the bed, and others with lace straps hanging on both the door and the closed.
Merry was not sure what it was, or what it did, but her happiness was beyond words. She strapped the circle on her back, and proceeded to climb down the night table, not before leaving a considerable amount of coins behind.
So, this was all for today!!! I hope you enjoyed it :D Now I've got the idea of wanting to make the story of Merry researching what the dream-catcher was. Will see! Anyways, hope you are enjoying the weekend!
This story is so cute and you're developing it really well Musume. I can't wait to read the next chapter where Merry begins her research.

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking that some of the fairies must be stronger than you would think since they have to climb night tables and beds. xD
Thank you!! And that is true, I haven't thought about it, honestly!
