Also, my tinies are using their new urethane eyes! They are from AtelierMomoni and you can expect closeup photos and a video review for January. I still need to record the review, though. I was going to do that after this photos, but it got horribly rainy and cloudy.
There are more rants and a tutorial link under the cut.
I made those candies myself!! They are for the the Xmas photos, which I took before the eyes arrived, hahaha! You will see more of those in the next post.
Snow Info
I need to clarify, the snow is really a mess, but it is so worthy!! Here is some info:Tutorial: Snow Recipe, by Play-Learn-Grow.
Mixing: For this setup I bought 300 grams of baking soda (in here some stores sell you just the quantity you want) for USD 1.7, and only ended up using around 200 grams. You put the baking soda on something that will contain it and allow you to mix it (plastic or glass) and then put the shaving cream... I used the amount required for 3~4 shavings, which is really little.
Beware that when you start mixing you'll get your fingers full of the cream and the snow won't look as snow. Keep at it, and when it is througly mixed it will not be that sticky. It still got underneath my fingernails, so keep that in mind... and keep something in hand to clean yourself before using the camera, as the dust is not good for those.
Cleaning the Dolls: It will be fine, but as soon as you finish with the photos, remove the clothes and was them, and clean your doll with a damp cotton. If you think it may have gotten inside the joints, you'll have to take them apart and clean them inside as well.
That was all for today! I apologize for posting midweek, but I really wanted to share these photos. I hope you are doing great! Are you ready for Xmas this weekend? I wish you the best!!
Wow they have so much fun in the snow!! I still love your little Christmas tree so much. <3 ^^ Merry and Cookie are so cute. Lovely photos dear Musume. ^__^
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!! I love my tree, it looks adorable, honestly! And the 3D paint is still in good conditions!! It surprised me, honestly!
Adorable photos! Your girls are so cute. I love the new eyes and hope to see more close-ups soon. As for the snow--Amazing! I want to make some for my dolls to play with. It looks just like the fake spray-on snow that comes in a can, but less icky.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!! Her new eyes are gorgeous, I know!! Closeups are incoming in January, when I finish the video review :D
DeleteYou should try this snow, it is not sticky at all, it is cold, it shines and in the photos it looks very decent!!
