Finally, finally, finally!!! She came in Thursday. It was quite an adventure, so let me tell you.
Since the 3rd she was on my city's customs, and I had no notice, nor tracking updating... naturally, I was getting on my nerves. The 7th a neighbour came knocking on my door, with the notice from customs... I was like -.- what??? It seems that the postman came on Thuesday, knocked on the wrong house -again- left a missing invoice, and go. The Wednesday he knocked on the same mistaked house, and this neighbour got the notice and bringed it to me.
On Thursday I asked for a couple of hours in the work, because custom is only open for a couple of hours, in my working schedule. So I went with my hubby... and so it came The Fee. I had to pay 100$ to release her, and quickly opened her box in there. Then I left the hubby and the doll at home, and came back to work.
I got home in the evening. As soon as I came, I messaged my mom asking if she wanted to be in here for the box opening. She rushed to my hose around 30 minutes later, knocking in the door with a "I'M HERE, I'M HERE, WAIT FOR ME, DON'T OPEN HER YET!!!". So here we was, my mom, my hubby and I -oh, and my cat, trying to swap the attention to him- in front of the big box.
Enough talking, here are the pics!! Click "Read More"!
This is the box. I had to fast open it in the customs office:

The mandatory Korean sticker:
The inside box was really pretty. The cardboard is more thick than I thought it would be.
The next was the classic foam guy. My hubby decided to call him "The Little Sultan".
The CoA, a lot smaller of what I had in mind:
This are the free eyes I got with her. They are pretty nice!
The high heel feet:
And here is where Withdoll were really good to me. I ordered my girl a week before they released thenew twist+lock wrist system on the girls. I wrote to them asking if my girl could have them, and they said yes!! So here it is the second pair of hands:
AND FINALLY!!! The main event...
Since she is my first dolly, I did not dare to make her stand -I was afraid of her falling and getting damaged-, so I sat her in the table. At this point, my mom was looking at her face, saying nonstop "She is beautiful, she is beautiful".
The inside of the headcap:
And then, I finally dared to make her stand:
And here started the funny part. My mom crochetted *a lot of* things for the doll, so here we were, my hubby watching amused, my mom giving me all the goodies, and me taking pics while omaging all the time. The first white shawl is a replica of the one I have, also crochetted by my amazing mom.
As you can see above ^ the dolly mess in the background was exponentially increasing. So, I tested out the freeby eyes she came with:
Then, I started tryng the others wigs and found out that her left eye had the eyelashed unglued in the corner. I took some pics, and continued with the testing... until I realized that it was night already, and when I wanted to take a pic, I had to use flash T_T Please excuse the washed out pic, of Rachel with my Kitty, a OT OOAK BJD.
I took another pic of her with her new glass eyes. I used flash with a white paper, because by this time, the sun had gone to sleep a long time ago xD
Gosh, to me she is even more gorgeous than in the promo pics!!
She will be named Rachel, as her sculpt, because I think it really suits her. Since she is a model, her artistic name is Coco -this is from something my hubby and I always say-.
Hope you like her!! I will sew her some clothes, an do a formal gallery!
