Dreaming in Wigs: a Lullaby Poem Ramble

Besides being a shoe-holic that is now testing her shoe-crafting skills, I'm also a renowned wig-aholic, prooved by the fact that Coco has around 7 wigs, and Cookie has like three (even if she only uses one, for now) xD Anyways, I was checking sites and thinking on companies that offer a lot of colors, and remembered Lullaby Poem wigs, that are awesome in their look (and recomended by Tjassi and Lise, incredible in quality).

I must be honest: I still don't fully understand how this store works, because they have a lot of colors, but only offers some of them on each model... but oh, well... I will be featuring my "dreamed" order with the colors I want, regardless availability, and also including wigs for dolls that I yet don't have. Plus, they use airmail shipping, that is a big good point for me.

Beware!

For Coco I would love the LPW012 in the Milk Tea color. This model comes with a removable braid part, and I'm a fan of changeable wigs, to be honest! They are so versatile, even for me, that I'm negated on hairstyling.

The problem is that as I need to order it on 6-7 and the store works on the old Volks sizes, this wig may be too short for Coco's default length.  I want a default length of 18~20cm for her, as her current Coolcat wig.

Next wig is for Cookie, in the LPW016 model. They currently doesn't offer 5-6 sized wigs (that is Lati Yellow or Pukifee size), but I asked on their facebook and was told that they are trying to add the size to the store! And since this is a dream-purchase, I'm considering it.

Cookie wears white hair, but since LP doesn't have white currently I'm settling with the Milk color, that is a really oxygenated-whitish blonde. I'm sure she will look lovely! And the amount of hair won't be as massive as her current tibetan-lamb wig.

And now, for my two dreamed girls (I will get them, someday!!):

This wig is the LPW017 and will be for Chanel, Coco's younger sister. I would want this in Vanilla color, since I always though of her as being more blonde than Coco, and maybe with hairdye. The good things about this wigs is that their bangs seams to be really stylish, as I have seen photos of the same wig both with regular full bangs and part/sided bangs.

Maybe the LPW013 in Vanilla would also be a good choice for this doll, that I'm dreaming it will be a Soom Rosette with Muse Girl body... probably a Vela, Mia or Marguerite sculpt, in that order of preference.

This wig is the LPW008 and I want it in Espresso color, and would be for Hazel (tentative name, it may change because I don't like it completely but don't want to name another doll with a C... name), who is Coco's best friend and roomate. I have my mind set on this doll (even made a huge post about her, in a meme): she will be a CDS Iplehouse JID girl, in light brown skin with big breast and for now, Violet head. If they come up with an equally mature, bitch-pls-faced, closed-mouth sculpt, I may change my mind.

This seams to be the only no-bangs wig that LP offers, for now. I will prefer it with a sided-part-line, but this one is cute, too... and has the right amount of curls that I like. Also, I want her with black hair, and the Espresso seams to be a really natural black.

Finally -and I know she is not mine- I was browsing the wigs and saw the LPW006 and couldn't stop myself from imagining this wig in Black Cofee color in Calina. As I said, I know she is not mine, but since she is staying with me for a while, so I can make her a cute outfit that is so-not-Coco's-style, I imagined her on this cute wig, and thought she will look adorable! (she is adorable, anyways, with that cute lil' smile of hers).

Lullaby Poem also offers a lot of hairbands, but since they are only 8-9 size, I won't be able to get them. I guess I will have to try my hand at making them! :D I love crafting for this hobby :3

  1. I didn't know that wig store! I'm still on the look for a wig for my Lady Alice, so I'll go check it now, thanks!
Coco looks amazing in anything you put on her and that first wig would really look amazing on her.
Somehow I can't imagine Cookie with that wig though, I always imagine Cookie more like her current wig: a bit wild and with a lot of personality

I really hope you can get another doll soon, it would be so much fun to see what you do with her!

    1. Thanks!!! Yes, Coco is really versatile, and I love her! She can change so much depending on the wig :3
Regarding Cookie, I love the look of her current wig, also the no-bangs and center part styled to the back, but the tibetan-lamb was such a poor quality that always gives me headaches. I guess I need to add more hair on the back, to be happy.

Hope you will be able to get a nice wig for your Lady Alice!!

Yes, I have selfies of them all here http://bit.ly/mybjdolls and in the Charahub link they all have profiles done. I think you will find Hazel pretty interesting.
