Doll Wishlist Meme

Well, I was tagged -I believe two weeks ago- by my friend fantasywoods/glitterale to make the meme about the dolly wishlist that is going on Tumblr, but I decided to post it here, since this is my main blog.

Before answering everything, I must confess I'm sort of weird: I might think lots of dolls are pretty, or may post those 'might need' tweets, but I don't think on buying them all. Too many models to sew for, hahaha. Anyways, here are my answers!

1. How many dolls are on your wish list currently?
Three, the followings:

• Iplehouse CDS JID Violet, light brown skin, glamour breast, mobility type.
• Soom Rosette Vela/Mia, normal skin, muse body, girl chest.
• Oleum13 Cat (4cm), or EleoDolls Dalmatian.

In the case of the Rosettes, I posted two sculpts, but I will be fine with just one of them. I don't want/need the two of them. This is similar for the pets: I want the kitten or the dalmatian :)

2. How many Larger (65cm+) dolls are on your list?
None. I dislike this size because it is too big, in many senses: dolls are big and heavy, the storage space should be bigger, they need more fabric, bigger space for photos, items are more expensive, and so on.

BUT! The Cynthia as Popstar Ahri that Angell-Studio released did caught my eye. I'm a LoL fan after all [sales page]. But no, I'm not getting her, just admiring.

3. What about 1/3 sized dolls?
As I said, I don't like them... but I have considered the SQ-Lab 51cm girl body, just because it can wear the gorgeous SD13/16 heels, and because it is not that big (if you compare the measures with the JID girl, you will see they share almost all of them!). Since I tend to blog about everything dolly related, I did a post about this some time before... because I don't know which head I would put on that body! [post here]

Also, I really liked Royal Guard Hornblend, a Idealian51 released by Soom. He had both centaur and human body and was as perfect as expensive. Since he is 51cm, he can be considered bigger, but I don't feel the 'need' to get him either. Just my wild dreams. I also blogged about him [post here].


4. And 1/4?
I love them, they are my size! Since I really want to get the JID, I also did blog about that big-ultra-expensive-purchase before, using the 'Grail Item' meme [post here]. I will also drool over almost any limited/new doll that Withdoll releases (yes, I'm withdoll-ed xD) and usually about Rosettes, too.

5. 1/6 and smaller?
I don't have any on my wishlist, but I do have tiny items on my list... specially a new wig for Cookie.


6. What is your grail doll?
I mostly think that one will be Coco, since I love her so so so much. Back in that time, I wasn't saving for her exclusively, just for 'the first doll'. Accidentaly, I found Withdoll, and they were holding a discount event. They only had Priscilla, Rachel, Cynthia and Daniela back in that time, and I loved Rachel on her promo photos... found the pictures of the body, and all the detail on the back left me stunned. She was perfect in all the ways.

But I still want the Rosette and the JID as crazy xD

7. What is the most expensive doll on your wishlist?
The Iple purchase I linked before... 700+ is a lot.


8. What about the most inexpensive doll?
Sadly, none of my dolls are inexpensive... but that should be the Rosette on the wishlist.


9. Which doll do you most look forward to getting in the future?
This is a hard one, since I highly and frequently oscilate between JID Violet and Rosette Vela/Mia. Story-wise, I need Violet first, but I tend to like the idea of having the Rosette first, since the body shape is really different from Coco (flat, less curvier) and then I will be able to sew really different clothing for her.

10. Lastly, can you list all the dolls on your wish list?
