Totoro Calina

Hello!!! I finally finished Calina's Totoro sweater, so here I have a small sort-of photostory! I also made her a leaf for the head and I was lucky to find DAS clay in my city (I have never seen that, to be honest), so I made Totoro's friends, too. While I was preparing some props, I saw the cookies jar I have, and got an idea for a silly story... so here it is!

I knitted and embroidered the sweater with the guidance of my mom, since she was teaching me to knit. I also crochetted the leaf, also with her guide. The boots are made by her, of course, I do not have that level of skill... yet!

Okay, so the photostory does not have text, but I hope it is understandable. It is just a silly idea!

And this is it!! I still can't believe I managed to make that sweater and leaf, I'm so proud! There was a "project" post before, if you want to read it. Now I'm preparing a doll cosplay for Coco, since I want to have it ready for N7 day on November.

Also, please let me apologize for being so slow at commenting at other people's blogs, I've been so stressed with work and then when I get home after gym I'm on zombie mode and do nothing... literally =S

In other news, my packages are still trapped at customs!! I do hope they will be released, eventually. Anyways, thank you so much for reading me and I hope you enjoyed the photos! Have a great weekend!

  1. Congratulations on your sweater! It looks lovely! You probably see all sorts of mistakes in it (because makers always do) but believe me, you did a great job. The leaf is perfect, and I just love your little bunnies. I've heard of Das clay but I don't know if I've ever seen it. Is it an air dry clay?

Also love the short boots your Mom crocheted.

DAS clay is an air dry clay, but it is so resistant and it also is very easy to sand!
