Autumn is Arriving

Honestly, there is not much to this post except a bunch of photos of Eiar looking adorable. These weren't taken in Autumn but Spring, actually! The thing was that the ground had a lot of leaves, the little trunk was also quite orangey, and I did an edit favouring the warmer, browish colours rather than the greens--hence why it looks like Autumn. In any case, Autumn is nearing here Down Under, so they "fit" the mood!

As you can see, I was trying on getting some front-and-back blur, and only the dragon in focus. It's quite hard to get both of them, honestly--especially when using objects (in this case the leaves) to "obstruct" part of the space. I need to practice more, but I think it makes for some amazing photos!

  1. Gorgeous photos. The colours of autumn really do pop through your photos. You are lucky to have autumn where you are. Up north, we either get summer most of the year with maybe a little bit of winter if we're lucky.

    1. Thank you so much! It was actually spring-into-summer when I took this, but that place with the red earth, the leaves, and the editing, did the trick! Oh, that mostly-summer thing does sound good!

    1. Hahaha, thanks! That's definitely something to consider! I'm actually one of those people who walks crushing the leaves in Autumn, ha!
