Project Update: Tree Stump Diorama

Since I shared the start of the project almost two months ago, I've been working non-stop. I've updated the Project Journal on Den of Angels weekly, and decided to also make an small update here. The diorama is far from done, but at least the main "structure" (the house shape) is done, and ready to get some cute furniture!

I will be doing the furniture too, but I wanted to make a log for this stage of the project. I made a video with voice-over, summarizing some of the most important steps. A lot more detailed photos are available on DoA's Project Journal. As always, it has English and Spanish subtitles, so please, forgive the accent.

Well, my awesome mom made me that lovely curtain!! I don't know how she did, since I went with a very vague idea because I didn't have an explicit design in mind, and she came out with something so beautiful! The outside is finished now, and only furniture remains! I know for sure I want a shelf, a bed/couch and a kitchen. Maybe a table with chairs, and some cushions. I want to made exchangeable furniture, so the house can be either Merry's or Cookie's. A lot of work ahead!
