Bad News? ~ A Photostory

Time for another story!! I actually shot this while on my holidays, but didn't got around to post it until now. Since I don't have a backyard, I had to "improvise" and use one of my hubby's potted plants... and the hubby himself to hold me a pretty backdrop behind the plant xD

You can see my set up on this Instagram photo, and I can tell you for sure that we froze our asses while taking this. That day it was like 3º Celsius, and we were both with gloves, hats, and tons of photos. I'm defying the "you can't do that with gloves" motto, to be honest. All of these, while my cat was meowing from the inside of the house, because he wanted to go out, hahaha!

Anyways, if you remember, Merry pissed Mr. Glass off after standing on him and getting him dirty. So, after taking Merry and Mr. Glass to talk with the Elder Fairies, Cookie went on for a ride on the "woods" (please, have imagination, it is only a pot xD).

Remember to read from left to right and top to bottom. Also, different fonts means different languages/people talking, but fairies are awesome and they all manage to understand themselves without translators xD

And this is all for today! I just wanted to "tie" a little the Talking Cups story with the next one, in which Cookie will go to Merry's house to see how she is doing during her confinement xDD I have it all think, I just need to get some things to make a couple props that I will need, and it is taking me a little to get them.

The plant is actually a "lemon pine". The seller told us that is the name, because when the leaves move they create a slight lemon smell. It is more noticeable in summer, but it is really pretty. The tiny bicycle was a gift from Morla, and the crystal toucan from my hubby.

I have a very funny anecdote about this. I took this without the tripod and I think it came out decent because there was no space to put it, and even without the legs pulled it was too tall for the small pine pot. So I was doing my poses to take photos while hubby was holding the backdrop and moving it with my instructions... I hadn't realized I was in a very weird pose (also I was a clothing onion, with tons of clothing because I was freezing my ass out there), and with a very serious face, my hubby tells me "and there goes the camera-sutra and the dolly-photography meme". I just stopped, I looked at him, realized my weird pose, and we both started laughing so much. I couldn't even take photos for a couple minutes, because everytime I aimed the camera I laughed xD

Anyways, hope you laughed a little, at least with my anecdote! Hope you are having a great weekend! My two tinies should be getting her new urethane eyes soon, and I can't wait to make a review of them and take a lot of photos. I was also considering doing a voice over video and film the eyes in and out the doll. Would you like that? Let me know!

  3. Poor little Merrie! For her sake I hope it rains every day of her house confinement so she won't be too sad at having to stay indoors. Camera-sutra, OMG! I wish your hubby had been able to take a photo of you!

I can't wait for the next part of the story.
