Sweets and Candies ~ Merry Xmas!!

It is amazing, I still don't know where this year went! It all happened so fast, between work, deadlines and things, it simply... vanished away! But oh well, what would be Xmas without Merry and Cookie celebrating it?

I've had the idea for this photoshoot for a couple of months, so I spent two weekends making tiny candies from cold porcelain. The gingerbread men may be a little darker (pretend they are chocolate, instead) and their faces a little pissed off (I don't have proper tools for that size... and my trusty toothpick was not enough this time), but oh well. I thought of filling Merry's boot with cheese, but I liked it better this way.

I haven't got friendly with the damn Xmas lights, so no failed attempt of bokeh this year... for now. Anyways, have the first photo, and the rest of the mute photostory is under the cut.

And how it all started...

Anyways, I hope you'll have a wonderful and the merriest of Xmas, full of joy and love, and also hope Santa behaves with you all and leaves you awesome gifts and candies! Beware of candies, though, and have some self control. Not like Merry, hahahaha!

Oh well, merry xmas everyone!!

  1. So cute! I think a cheese-filled boot would have been fun and original--and very fitting for a mouse. They both look like they've eaten too many sweets. And I love the green sweater! Merry Christmas to all!

  4. They're so cute and tiny.. I just realized how tiny next to the pine cone. The cone made up as Christmas tree- that's a lovely idea. And since the year is nearly over I wish you a very happy new one!
