Fairies' Little Friends ~ Story

And so, I went to a hobby store near by to get the MSC I needed for my frankendragoning gratefulness project. Lo and behold, I found Sylvanian Families there. I already knew about them, but they were so cheap and cute! And they had this little blind bags of Sylvanian babies with musical instruments at A$6, that I couldn't resist.

I really wanted the violin, accordion, piano or trumpet, but I only got the accordion of all of those. I'll probably repaint them soon, because they are the right size for my dragons. For now, here is a muted story (photos only) of my fairies finding this little babies lost in the fairy woods.

Apparently, the little animal babies where scared, and sleepy after wondering the woods for so long. Do you guess what happened? Would you be interested in more stories with this small crew and the fairies?

  1. I love Sylvanian Families. I believe they're the same as Calico Critters. (One is Japanese, the other is the US version.) There are houses, vehicles, etc. available for them, too. I'd love to see other stories with the tiny animals and your fairies.

  2. I remember buying a Sylvanian family and their house for the girls at Christmas, many years ago. They still have the family and house in their room. So cute. I have one of the blind packs, the one with the cymbals. Could not resist either! :D

    1. Oh really? I haven't tried them honestly. I thought they were good for the dragons, but too small for the 16cm tinies. Maybe I need to double check, but I think the adult Sylvanians are like 10cm tall?

  4. That's so cute! I love the Sylvanian Families, they're super adorable, but here they're a bit pricey. You're lucky to have find them at a low price. Your photos look lovely and those babies you found make great "dolls for dolls".

    Have a nice week.

We have these little critters in all our toyshops and in Toys R Us too, I'm always tempted but I know that I'd want more than just a couple and end up with lots of families...then I'd want their accessories...oh boy, no, I just cannot go there!!! I will have to enjoy them through your lovely blog posts instead.
