Hybrid: Minifee & Withdoll Hybrid

A long time ago... well, actually, it was 2013 xD Anyways, in 2013 I did a post about a possible MNF and Withdoll hybrid. The thing is a lot of people have contacted me about this, but I honestly had no more information about that. I also have the collab post about general mature minis hybrids. You can see those posts here:
However, in March, @Mista_Isilme from Instagram (check her page here) contacted me has she had new info! She did some testings of her own and offered me the info so I could spread the word out. I thought this was a great idea! So here it is another collaboration, and I hope anyone looking to make such hybrid would find it useful :D

All photos and info written below are provided by @Mista_Isilme and used with permission!

From left to right, the photo shows: normal position head (front and profile), looking down and looking up. Doll parts involved:
  • Head: Withdoll Priscilla, rose white skin, 2014. Heavily blushed.
  • Body: Minifee Renewal A-Line Body, natural skin, 2014.

Neck Joint:

The MNF neck connector system does not work. You will need new, slightly longer, strings and a S-hook or O-hook in order to restring the torso. The new hook will go into the Withdoll head. You can also use a resin ring inside the head, as a replacement for the hooks.

Proportions/Fit:

The neck girth works fine with the Withdoll head. It may be a little too thick to have a great range of motion, but it makes no great difference. Mista wrote: "Outwardly the fit is beautiful - way better than some of the Minifee heads I have seen".

Range of movement is good both up-down and side-to-side. You can check the first photo!

Resin Match:

The following photo is a resin match with two different normal skin Withdolls: the arm belongs to a 2016 doll (displayed on a glass case), and the cap is a resin sample from 2014 (permanently stored in a box). The doll has yellowed, and it is a little more yellow than the headcap.

Mista said: "The difference is a bit bigger in live than in the pics, but the overall tone is pretty close. The color match between the headcap and Fairyland is almost perfect: they could be from the same batch". She is assuming the headcap has also yellowed a bit due to time.

And this was all for today! I hope you will find this useful, and if you have any additional information to share, please do so! Have a great weekend, everyone! :D

  1. This is useful--thanks! I hadn't thought to try a WithDoll head on a MiniFee body, mainly because my MiniFees are older so their resin is a few shades darker. For what it's worth I do have a Raccoon head on a WithDoll body. The head fit is good but there is little or no range of motion. Resin match is pretty good. With the amount of blushing there is on the head, any color difference is barely visible.

  2. As you know Musume, I am over collecting larger dolls, but it's always good to see the resin matches between different suppliers irrigardless of the size of the dolls. So thank you dear for all this information, you are a sweetie!

    1. I'm glad you think so, I'm happy to help!!
I love Withdoll bodies. For the girls, if you use thicker strings and sueding, their pose-ability skyrockets.
