Hello everybody, another story is here! It is hard for me to post Coco again, but I had written this story quite a while ago, and I did not want to ditch it out. So here it is. I am quite proud, as I designed her outfit myself, and it turned out to be a nice combination. As I am trying to do lately, the patterns for the outfit are available on my Etsy Momo's Patterns.

So, without further ado, let's start with the story!

Gifts for Venezia ~ Story Time

First post of the year!! I know it is so soon in the year, but on January 3rd of 2017, Venezia arrived! She came along with Cookie's kitty form, and also a very weird anecdote, hahaha! Anyways, I was thinking of what to do, and got the idea for this short story... also, I want to add some more explanation to what happened on Xmas Eve as well!

Gift-giving ~ Story Time

First of all: Merry Xmas, everyone! And happy any-holiday you are celebrating! I mostly celebrate the gift-giving (my fave part!), not any belief, but oh well.

Today I bring you the last story-chapter of the year for Coco and Venezia's story. Once again, I need to thank DaggrySaga for beta-reading this, as I was not sure it was properly written and all. The photos are few, and the best ones are in the end. So I hope you will enjoy this!

Halloween Midnight ~ Short Story

It is time for another story!! This took me a little to get done because I had to make the pajamas, and also tons of props, as all the candies and bakery stuff I had were made in 1/8 size for my tinies... so Coco and Venezia required more props. I made all the goodies in cold porcelain, and for the boxes I purchased a template from Nerea Pozo and re-scaled it to 1/4, and also used some freebies from the internet.

I hope you will like this short chapter, and special thanks go to Daggry_Saga who helped me beta-reading this, as I was a little unsure of some bits. Anyways, have a photo here, and we will start under the cut!

Teacups ~ Story Time

Honestly, this short story is a sort of... catharsis that I needed to do. I wanted to make translucent teacups/pots for Coco, so I got some translucent FIMO. And ruined many tries. The first one was under-baked, the second one was too baked and turned orange... so I went and made a teacup with the jade-like FIMO, only to have the acrylic I used to fill it, completely ruined.

My third try of teacups broke while in the oven and I glue them. Hubby suggested me to paint them with blue and gold, like those traditional cups... but the result was floppy. And it gave me the idea for this story. I do hope to be able to make better props in the future, honestly.

Low Key - Short Story

To be honest, this was sort of an improvised story. I hadn't planned for it. One stormy Saturday I wanted to try something new after finding out that I had a very small piece of black background, so I went to look for low key photography tutorials. I grabbed Venezia, changed her into almost nothing (some net leggings and the shawl that my mom made) and tried to get some shots.

While trying different camera-sutra things (picture me holding the reflector with my mouth, pointing a light with the left, and shooting the camera on the tripod with the right... or right hand to grab V in case of emergency, and left one shooting the camera...) I kept thinking that V would hate such shoot, with almost no clothes. And... this story came to mind. So here it is! It is very, very short, but oh well.

If you have any suggestions about the photos, go ahead! It is my first try with low key, anyways...

A Roomie for Bday ~ Story Time

Hey there! This new story had a lot of delay but it is finally on time! I actually made so many props for this! Besides both outfits, I made the couch (see the tutorial her), the frames, the coffee table, the plants, the cushions, and the bag for the teddy-bear (which is actually from a key-chain, hence why it is so size appropriate).
A year ago, Coco had to spend her bday alone, but no more! She got herself a roomie! So, this is the story, and I hope you will like it. Also, happy 5th bday to Coco!!! As always, time passes by and I feel like it moves twice as fast as it should. Oh well, let's get on with the photos and story.

The Search ~ Story Time

It is time for another story!! I originally wanted to make this for V's birthday on January, but I wasn't able. I apologize (or maybe not) because this chapter is a lot shorter than the others... but the turth is, it simply a link between what happened before and what is going to happen now.

Also, I needed an excuse to take a photo of Venezia at that wall, since is the only sort of "outside" place I could get to emulate the location described on the chapter. I already took photos of Calina there, which happens to be a roof! xD

Anyways, picture my husband with an umbrella to safeguard V from the sun, and me doing my camera-yoga-too-much-sun-I-can't-see-the-screen thing, to get decent-non-shaky shots.

New Year Party ~ Story Time

I can't believe 2017 is almost gone!! It went out so fast, that it is unbelievable. But oh well, there is still time for a new post. I want to share a last chapter (for this year) of Coco and Venezia's story. This time, they are going to a New Year party! This is just my poor excuse to just fit period dresses on their story because you know me: I have a weakness for period dresses and huby gave me a book for pattern-making!

Halloween Party ~ Story Time

I know, I didn't post a story in months, and then I get to post two of them very close to each other. I cannot help it, I got inspired xD I was messing up with the diorama I made for the tinies when I came with the idea for this... and since I wanted to redo that little black dress of Coco and also use the amazing spider-web shawls my mother made, I thought this was a perfect opportunity to do so!

So, I apologize for any writing mistakes, typos or wrong tenses... you know English is not my main language. Anyways, have a photo and the story is under the cut!

The Date ~ Story Time

Finally another story! I know, I've been pushing this story for months, literally. First, because I wanted to have some furniture for the photos, but then when I realized I wouldn't get it, I tried to think on another idea for the photos. And then, I decided that I needed to use this as an excuse to learn to knit, and made knitted parts of outfits for both of them... which took me a month and a half to finish, with my mom's help.

So, oh well... next week is going to be a dress-up and full of anecdotes of me doing the outfits, because I have to share those! And I hope you will laugh with me (or at me) with some of them.  Also, I need to give a special thanks to Daggry_Saga (check her blog here) for beta reading this chapter and giving me valuable input! Thank you!! :D

Accepted! ~ Story Time

Hello everybody!! It is time for another story time :3 I'm honestly having so much fun writing this, although my work is so time consuming lately, that I'm so slow to continue this. I think you can guess it from the title, but I'm pushing the "date" between Coco and Venezia, mostly because I have no clue of what sort of background/props I can use, and I cannot order or buy anything right now, so... I don't know what to do xD

Also, yay for me! I learned to do invisible stitches on stretchy fabric while sewing these pajamas, so +1 for learning something new! I love when that thing happens. And the tank top pattern was too easy to make, I did few corrections and it was done!

Coco Seong ~ Character Info

Hello there! I know, Coco had the 10 facts done like... 3 times, if I remember correctly, but with fixing the story and wanting to fix the profiles, I said: why not make her a good Character Info page just like I did with Venezia? Also, it helps me organize my ideas while writing the stories.

Anyways, I do hope this is the definitive profile info for her, although I cannot guarantee that I won't end up hating the photos or anything else from here to some years/months xD

Lonely Birthday ~ Story Time

May 9th is Coco's birthday, and I sincerely can't believe she had been with me for four years already! Time flies! My tradition was to make a new dress for her each year, but... this time I have something different to share. I'm really hooked up on writing the story and sharing it in my blog, so I thought it was a great opportunity to show more of Coco's character.

I haven't shared much of her character before, and I'm really loving discovering this part of the hobby. Also, I think I can improve my English a lot with this, as I practice on writing something not as formal as I do at the office.

Second Photoshoot ~ Story Time

Hello! Here we are again with another part of the story :D I'm so sorry for not posting this before, but between my tinies bdays and making the dress for Venezia, I had no choice. Coco's dress is the one I made for her bday on 2016, as I was never happy with the photos I took of it, and thought it deserved a second chance.

I have several anecdotes about Venezia's dress too, but I will split this on two posts. Here is the story, and there will be another post with outfits photos, a little tale about my inspiration, and so on. I will do it that way, so I can link the second post to my sewing portfolio.

Anyways! This time the text was almost 3 pages... I wanted to write a little more, but I didn't want to annoy people, so I left it for another "chapter". Hopefully, it will be out soon, but my perfectionist self reads each text around three times, which slows me down.

Venezia Reyes ~ Character Info

Hi there! I'm planning on doing more stories for my dolls, but since both Coco and Venezia are more or less complete (until I decide I want to change something else), I thought it was time for new profile photos and all. It will also help me make a baseline to continue writing the story.

My idea is to have a basic idea of the character here, in order to go slowly updating my doll profiles. Also, having things about each character sorted up are going to help me plan stories better! So, today we have Venezia's info! Hope you will like it!

Instead of doing the classic 10 Facts, I asked Nikki, and she told me where to get a Character Questionnaire template. The one I'm using is a mismatch from several templates I found online. If you want it, let me know and I'll email it to you!

By the way, I crochetted that scarf myself! Yay for learning!

Should I Share? ~ Story Time

Hello everybody! Here it is time for another story! Today's is focused on Coco, as I want to keep working on my story. I think next post will be either a "10 facts" or "character questionnaire" for Venezia. Now that I have my urethane eyes (finally!!!!) I want to re-work everybody's profiles, even the tinies!

Anyways, I attempted to make a sort of diorama/house thing for Coco. This was a balcony attempt (Coco's back is facing her living room window)... so please, do have a little imagination xD Oh well... my terrible writing is under the cut.

A Job Interview ~ Story Time

Hello! Now that the urethane eyes finally arrived, I was able to take photos of the lingerie I made for Venezia, and share the story that goes with it. From now on, I plan to periodically share short written stories... maybe sort of chapters, of the "models" story.

I also plan on taking new profile photos for all my dolls, with their proper urethane eyes. I will be also sharing a basic info post on each of them (with the NaNoWriMo format, probably), so I can link them on the profiles instead of the 10 facts. I know Merry, Coco and Cookie have the facts already, but... I sort of want to start on a clean slate, with better photos, now that I have the worlds a little more organized and planned.

Modeling on Winter

Hello there! Today I have another short story to share, this time about Coco. I was debating myself if I liked that sweater I made or if I hated it, when I tried those antlers I made long ago. That was instant inspiration to write this, and share another short story before the end of the year.

Character Relations (Part I)

Hello there! You know, I'm not for sharing a lot of my doll's story, but they do have one. However, after seeing Turbow's and Kai's character relations meme, I said... "why not?". This will also help me sort out things related to my dolls.

I knew from the start I couldn't use photos because I don't have all the dolls, and since I suck at drawing (that is why I didn't use Kai's base), I decided to use the platform DreamSelfy to create the characters, and then edit everything with the relations. So please consider that I was limited to the web's clothes and hairstyles, so not everything would be 100% accurate.

Also, I have two stories: one for Coco (and all the mini dolls I haven't yet purchased), and another one for my tinies. This time, I will share the story for Coco :D Here is the chart (click it to see it bigger) and more info and ramblings about my plans under the cut!
